A 27-year-old woman died Friday after pouring gasoline on herself and igniting it during a fight with her boyfriend, San Bernardino authorities said Tuesday.Paints a nice picture, doesn't it?
Sonnealita Louder was pronounced dead Friday in the 3500 block of East 21st Street in San Bernardino. She suffered second- and third-degree burns over 90% of her body, said Jason Serrano, a spokesman for the San Bernardino Fire Department.
Police responded to a 2:30 p.m. call Friday about a domestic altercation between Louder and her 44-year-old live-in boyfriend, said Lt. Jarrod Burguan of the San Bernardino Police Department.Shacking up... with a 44-year-old. There's a problem right there.
Louder became angry, witnesses told police, and "went into the garage of the residence and poured gasoline on herself and set herself on fire," Burguan said.Smothering would likely have been more effective. But it is hard to think clearly when your burning yourself alive.
She then ran back inside the apartment and tried to put the fire out with water, Serrano said.
Another person tried to use a fire extinguisher.Depending on the extinguisher, that can suffocate someone.
Her boyfriend also tried to put out the fire and sustained minor burns and smoke inhalation.A last attempted act of kindness. He's fortunate she didn't pour the gasoline on him and set him on fire. Crazy women are great in the sack, but tough to deal with, and they just might kill you if they don't kill themselves first. This poor woman needed some help. Too bad she didn't get it.
