There's a lesson or two in this short Los Angeles Times blurb.
Quote:
>>A cheerleading coach was in custody after he was arrested this week, accused of giving Ecstasy to a 16-year-old student and engaging in unlawful sex with a minor. Jonathon Rios, 27, is charged with four felony counts: furnishing a controlled substance to a minor, statutory rape, oral copulation, and sodomy with a person 16 or younger.<<
The first lesson is... if you ever let your daughter out of the house before she is 18, never ever let her do anything where she'll be alone with male who has reached puberty.
The second lesson is... If you are an adult male, never ever work or volunteer with anyone under the age of 18. People will automatically think you are a pervert because of stories like this. Kids not having activities to keep them busy shouldn't be your concern. Twenty-five to life should be your concern.
A look at the world from a sometimes sarcastic, tongue-in-cheek, decidedly American male perspective. Lately, this blog has been mostly about gender issues, dating, marriage, divorce, sex, and parenting via analyzing talk radio, advice columns, news stories, religion, and pop culture in general. I often challenge common platitudes, arguments. and subcultural elements perpetuated by fellow Evangelicals, social conservatives. Read at your own risk.
