It frustrates her that her son is not inclined to date any of them. Who the hell wants to date a woman that was hand-picked by mom?curiepointnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3917394.post-74021269191378110342011-04-11T14:27:48.012-07:002011-04-11T14:27:48.012-07:00I don't know..it seems most overbearing mother...I don't know..it seems most overbearing mothers certainly don't want their sons to get married...they want to control them, and a man is truly in the middle when he tries to make his controlling mama happy, and please his new wife.

I agree that a man who is single, and without children is generally a very responsible man. I married my responsible husband when he was just about 30..everyone except him began wondering if he'd ever marry..he knew God just hadn't brought his wife yet.

Anyway, great post!Rightthinkerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11448900188921522323noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3917394.post-68812334338929037102011-04-07T17:30:33.798-07:002011-04-07T17:30:33.798-07:00I would bet all the money in my pockets against al...I would bet all the money in my pockets against all the money in yours that Peter is right. This woman may love her son, but she likely loves the idea of grand-children even more.

Even if this were not true, one immutable fact remains:

Loving mother or not, she is still a woman, and a single man appears as something frightful and threatening. She won't be able to keep tabs on him forever, so she needs a daughter-in-law to tag team keeping him under a constant, watchful eye.Curiepointnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3917394.post-37433228474418386032011-04-06T17:23:49.626-07:002011-04-06T17:23:49.626-07:00I would bet that this woman is more concerned abou...I would bet that this woman is more concerned about her own ambition to have grand-kids than her son's future happiness (mothers usually are). I loved the husband's diplomatic comment. Probably too scared to say what he really thinks!Peterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07413174463075185720noreply@blogger.com
